Veroni, a pharmaceutical company engaged in the development of cosmetics and drugs based on snail slime, was looking for an innovative system to obtain a product that was pure, safe and rich in active ingredients, while respecting animal welfare and the principles of environmental sustainability. The challenge was to find a technological solution that was both effective, ethical and easily integrated into production processes.

Solution

In collaboration with Veroni, we designed and built OzoSnail, a patented and certified extractor for the natural extraction of snail slime.
At the heart of the system lies the precise use of ozone, which gently stimulates the secretion of the snails without causing stress or harm, ensuring a completely cruelty-free process.
Made entirely of food-grade stainless steel, with custom components and an intuitive management software, OzoSnail is a plug & play machine ready to use, designed to maximize productivity and ease of operation.
The natural antibacterial action of ozone allows for obtaining a purer, more stable, and contaminant-free slime, without the use of chemical preservatives.

Result

Thanks to OzoSnail, Veroni was able to enhance its production chain with an ethical, automated, and highly efficient collection process, achieving a productivity of up to 2 liters of slime every 30 minutes.
The quality of the extracted secretion exceeded the standards required for the European Cosmos Organic certification, strengthening the company’s image as a pioneer of sustainable innovation in its field.
