Cappellotto S.p.A., a company specialized in the production of industrial vehicles for suction, hydro-dynamic cleaning, and special material handling, entrusted Meccanica Cremonini with the design and manufacture of an industrial motor clutch dedicated to testing tanks used for sludge extraction and biogas plant cleaning operations.
The goal of the project was to develop a solution capable of simulating the real operating conditions of the final vehicle, allowing complete and reliable testing procedures before installation on the truck.

Solution
We designed, built, and installed a fully customized industrial motor clutch, developed to simulate the real operation of the truck during tank testing procedures.
The machine is equipped with a soundproof cabin, hydraulic stabilizing legs for lifting and stabilizing the structure, a driveshaft alignment system, a double hydraulic pump, and a tank specifically designed to ensure a constant oil supply within the circuit.
A dedicated electrical control panel was also developed to monitor and manage the main operating parameters required by the customer, including:
- vacuum pump control;
- vacuum pressure monitoring;
- driveshaft engagement verification;
- gearbox control;
- operating pressure monitoring.
The structure was designed to adapt to different tank configurations, ensuring complete and reliable testing under real operating conditions.

Result
The system enabled the customer to carry out complete testing procedures before installation on the final vehicle, reducing the risk of anomalies and unexpected issues during field operations while improving control over the main operating parameters.
