HOW CAN I PREPARE MY PUMP FOR WINTER TO ENSURE PROPER OPERATION ON RESTART?

1️⃣ Change the engine oil and filters

• Use original filters and oil with the grade specified in the user and maintenance manual.

2️⃣ Replace the diesel filters

• Add an anti-algae additive and start the engine for about one minute to circulate the product through the system.

3️⃣ Fill the pump with coolant

• Close the delivery valve and circulate the coolant: this lubricates internal parts, prevents oxidation, and stops water from freezing.

4️⃣ Avoid washing with diesel

• Diesel can damage rubber parts and make dust stick.

5️⃣ Disconnect the batteries

• Disconnect the battery terminals to preserve them during storage.

6️⃣ Fill the fuel tank

• Keep the tank at 90% full to reduce condensation formation.

7️⃣ Store the pump indoors

• Keep the pump in a covered, dry location to protect it from moisture and condensation.
